Personal Reflection
From this project I am taking away that it is easier to speak in Spanish than I thought. At the beginning of the year I thought it would be hard to put together individual sentences but it’s not, all I needed to learn is a few rules and now I can speak correct complete sentences. I am also taking away that with perseverance and advocating for yourself you can take the time and learn subjects that are hard for you.
During this project I used advocacy because I needed extensions to turn in my project. I needed extra time because during this project I was also very busy in other classes which lead to me not being able to work on this project and refine it as much as I wanted to. Even though I got that extra time I hate that I had to ask for extra time because my project was not as refined as I wanted it to be in the end. What was not was refined was its appearance but its actual sentences are refined and during this project I also persevered to get a better grad so at the end I put together a test to make sure that the reader knows what I was saying.
If I were to do this project again I would change my format of my book. Every page is the same and there is only one picture I wanted to make it neater and more gorgeous. I also wanted to take actual pictures and more than one. Like with my Chile side of my story I photo shopped a lot of it I would like to take actual pictures and make it fun and beautiful.
Arte y Lengua
I have always wanted to build things like houses mountain bikes or just about anything ells that can be constructed. Form my project I chose to research Antoni Gaudi who is a famous artistic architect. When I saw that he was a artistic architect I had to study him and what I learned has given me a lot more excitement for designing. What I learned is that when you design it is not defined by the lines that are on paper but rather your imagination. Antoni did not make strait buildings but rather put in beautiful curves that were inspired by nature.
Arte y Lengua
During the course of the project we learned an extensive amount
of vocabulary and rules. At the beginning of the project we studied different famous
Spanish artists. After studying some of their beautiful work we picked an
artist that inspired us then we studied them for the form of art they did why
they were famous and why they inspired us.
This is my artist statement in Spanish:

Yo decido a usa
nieve cayendo en una roca. Yo tengo cinco piernas dónde la nieve cubre la parte
superior. Yo tengo nieve cayendo en el fondo. En él fondo hay una montañas
onduladas de nieve. El piso está cubierto con nieve. El entero cenador es
blanco. El entero cenador está cubierto en brillo para dar el cenador una
apariencia mágica de un invierno en Durango, Colorado.

Natures water balloon
Gods delight
The answer to humans’ thirst and hunger
Your soft baby skin
Feels like a water balloon
Bursting with life
Seeds of life
Like sweet water
Red fun balls
Like the red checks of summer
Smell of rich summer air
And sweet juice tickles my nose
Crunch of skin
Makes a sound of pleasure.
Tomato
you are natures gift
That fills my body
With your warm sweet juices
Of your plump red body

Reflection
From this project I learned a lot about Spanish and how
far I still have to go in order to fluently speck Spanish. I know this because I had to translate a lot of
words that I did not know and if I try to remember the translations I would not
know them. I think the dish that I prepared for exhibition is very interesting
because you should serve it several different ways; soup, dip, and dried to
make a kind of dried tomato salad. If I was to redo my project I would pick a
different dish that challenged me. My recipie was simple short and easy which
was good for finishing but not good for a challenge and making it stand out
like I usually try and do. From this project I am proud about how few
grammatical errors I had.
